The preoccupation of Boris Labbé is articulated in the possible transformations of the term ‘becoming-animal’ by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari. Thanks to the specific imaginarium that Labbé develops on the trajectory of the ever-growing bestiary, the climax of his creative expression is in the animation medium, but the ‘becoming-animal’ and ‘becoming-plant’ and ‘becoming-mineral’ are equally interesting and powerful as the dominant theme interpreted within his graphics, sketches and drawings.
