Synopsis
Mercurio is a kid who loves cycling. One day he is stopped by members of the Fascist regime and incarcerated in a transit camp, ready to be sent to a concentration camp. Forced to quickly become a man, he will fight unarmed, to try and win against the horror of Fascism and gain freedom.
Michele Bernardi is one of the most important Italian animators. He works in television, music, and advertising. In the 1980s, he worked on the TV series La Pimpa and on several episodes of La Linea di Cavandoli. He made over 30 animated music videos and commercials. In 2012, his short film, Djuma, screened at Annecy IAFF, Anima Mundi, and Animafest.
