From Regina’s personal and visual memories, a tribute to her uncle Thomas, a humble man with a simple and anonymous life. This is my acknowledgment how one does not have to be “somebody” to become exceptional in our life.
Regina Pessoa (1969, Coimbra) graduated at the Porto University of Fine Arts. In 1992 begins working in Filmógrafo, where she collaborates as an animator. In 1999 animates and directs her first author film A Noite (The Night), engraving in plaster plates. In 2005 animates and directs her second short animation film Tragic Story with Happy Ending, whose project received three prizes in Annecy, and more than 50 other awards and distinctions in film festivals.
