Synopsis
In the film The Da Vinci Time Codean image is taken apart in order to create an animated film from the fragments. Different parts of this image, based on similar forms, allow us to discover secret movements. The people in the picture eat, dance, discuss and argue, until they are finally all silenced.
Gil Alkabetz (1957, Kibbutz, Israel) studied Graphic Design at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. Since 2004 he is professor at the HFF Konrad Wolf, Potsdam-Babelsberg, and at the Filmakademie BW. He served as a jury member at 8 international film festivals. He participated in 6 single and group exhibitions, and had 13 retrospectives at different film festivals.
