Maya Yonesho

Maya Yonesho is an experimental animation director from Japan. She holds an MA in Fine Arts. In her work, she deals with themes of communication without language. She often uses images from her everyday experience in foreign countries. Introspection (1998) was made in the UK, Üks Uks (2003) in Estonia, and Wiener Wuast (2006) in Austria. She has worked as a lecturer at the Kyoto Seika University since 2000. She lives in Stuttgart, Germany.
