Synopsis
In 1450 a fully loaded ship departed from Tsalal harbour and continued westward in search of an island believed to be somewhere far off the coast, but to no avail. Two other ships sailing out the following year in search of the same island came to a similar destiny. Captain Bonadventura Pancroff's five ships, which sailed out in 1468, resulted in equal failure. These are the remainders of a life-long search.
