Synopsis
A man and a woman drive straight towards one another. They hit the breaks just in time and come to a standstill, facing each other. They’re both too stubborn to give way to the other. A life story begins.
Sjaak Rood (Obdam, 1962) makes drawings all his life. He can’t help inventing stories, likes theatre and silly music, and has a thing for technical stuff, especially when it is related to theatre, music or computers. In animation all these things come together. His animation career started in the theater, making interactive animations for plays and dance performances. Sjaak was Artist in Residence at the Netherlands Institute for Animation Film in Tilburg from 2009 to 2011. In this period he made the animated shorts Fast Forward Little Red Riding Hood (2010), The Line (2011) and COFFEE (2012).
