Synopsis
The South Farm is a series about the life of little Penguin Fin who accidentally gets hatched on a large farm, a place totally different from his homeland. Fin meets a lot of new situations and uses all his creativity, optimism, and friendliness to tackle them and learn. Not knowing the rules set on the farm by Tobby the Dog, this new world becomes an endless source of possibilities for Fin. He learns how to get acquainted, make friends, cooperate with others, and find solutions in any situation. Finally, Fin discovers his place in life and finds his family. This cartoon promotes family values, development of communication, cooperation, optimism, and ingenuity.
Roman Kepkalo is a Ukrainian director and writer. He has a master’s degree in design (Kiev, Ukraine and Lund, Sweden). For 10 years, Roman has been working in computer game industry, gaining a lot of experience in concept and character design, storyboarding, story-writing, and animation. In 2012, he co-founded Yarki Studio – an animation, design, and game studio. In 2017, he finished a course at Lights Film School with a certificate in directing. From 2016 to 2017, he worked on The South Farm TV series based on his own stories.
