Synopsis


Fish Boy lives in darkness, his guilt about the past slowly consuming him. His girlfriend Laura is a light of hope in his dark world. But despite his efforts, his past continues to chase him, eventually putting them both in danger.

Anita Bruvere


Anita Bruvere is a director and animator from Latvia. She has always had a particular flair for experimentation, which stems from her background in fine art. Animation has provided her with endless possibilities to experiment. She has always had a strong interest in all art forms, and animation combined her passion for drawing and creating, her love for film, art and storytelling. She has a BA in Animation from Sheffield Hallam University which led her to study for her MA at the National Film and Television School, where she has directed and animated a number of films: Drama on the Roof (2017), A Blue Tale (2017), Zoo (2017), Mind Gardens (2017), Fish Boy (2018).
