Synopsis
The strange stories of Boxi, the cardboard dog, and Cartommy, the cardboard boy, come to life in the imaginary world of a child, built from household waste. All characters in the series can actually be cut and folded from paper.
Béla Klingl founded the KGB Visual Workshop in 1999 and then KGB Studio in 2002, where they also produce commercials and television headlines besides the animated films. He worked on visual effects and animations of internationally acclaimed works, such as Ildikó Enyedi’s film On Body and Soul that was awarded the Golden Bear Prize in 2017, or the Maestro, which was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film in 2005, and Nyócker, which won the 2005 Feature Film Award in Annecy. His latest animated short film is The Ambassadors of the Cosmos. As an animation director, scriptwriter and producer, he is currently working on such series as Boxi and Hunor.
