Sergiu Negulici studied sculpture at the National University of Arts Bucharest. He worked at the first post-production studio in post-'89 Romania as an art director, visual artist, lead animator, director, and animation trainer. He is part of the new wave of digital artists and has participated with his art projects in shows and art exhibitions. In recent years, he has shifted his focus to animated films and has his own animation studio – Reniform Studio. The Blissful Accidental Death is his first short animated film – as a director, co-writer, lead animator, and cinematographer. His next short animation, The Accident, is currently in production.
