Synopsis

Les Religions Sauvages(2005) is a feature-length animated absurd mix of styles made by thirty artists from eleven countries. It is a visual trip to hell, inspired by the devotional images from the La Major cathedral in Marseille. The ugly, blasphemous and obscene work emphasises the often anarchic side of the animation film and is easily incorporated into the overall body of work of the artist collective Le Dernier Cri.
