Synopsis

Branko suddenly dies in a supermarket. Things become extra complicated when the old man realises he has to pay for his last ride. This short grotesque is inspired by the Greek myth of Charon – the transporter of the dead.

Alen Vuković

Alen Vuković was born on 30 September 1987 in Zagreb. After graduating with a BA degree in multimedia, design and application in Varaždin, in 2012 he earned an MA in graphic product design from the Faculty of Graphics in Zagreb. Between 2010 and 2013 he worked for 3D2D Animatori production company as an animator and compositing artist on fiction and animated films and TV commercials. He has been freelancing since 2013 on different projects, and in 2014, with the support of the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, he began making his short animation debut Charon. A member of the Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Arts.
