I'm Jan Kožić. I was born in 2000 in Zagreb. Still in elementary school I fell in love with movies I watched more than my parents allowed. In the 7th grade, I attended a summer fiction film workshop where I've seen all the processes of film production first-hand. I think it was then that I decided I would be dealing exclusively with film in life. After elementary school I enrolled in my preferred high school (Media Technician). I finished the second grade of the same school and everything I've been doing until now has only strengthened my desire to deal with film. So far, I have participated in a school film as an editor, on the following I was a director, and I also worked on a promotional video for the National Festival of Education in Graphic Technology and Audiovisual Technologies. I’m currently preparing my third short fiction film as a director. I'm inspired by Martin Scorsese, Guy Ritchie and Wes Anderson. If one day I managed to convey only part of their magic to my future movies, I would be the happiest man in the world.
