Authors | Imge Ă–zbilge
Imge’s work is mainly history-related and surreal, while her multicultural background gives her a different point of view. She considers herself to be an absurdist. Her relationship with time is an important aspect in her works: "I don't see time as a linear thing, the past and the future are creating the present for me." This shows in her work, her references to familiar cosmopolite city sceneries and historical imagery mixed with ordinary modern objects and surreal sea creatures make her drawings all the more fascinating.
