Han Zhang was born and raised in Shenzhen, China. He started learning drawing since high school. He finished his BFA at the China Academy of Art as a 2D animator, and MFA at the Academy of Art university in traditional animation major. As an animator, Han likes exploring different visual styles to make his films look pretty. And he also enjoys developing the characters' performance to tell stories. He hopes he can create more unique animated films in the future and keep pleasing the audience. Directing a feature film is his biggest dream.
