Synopsis

EasyCare is a place where the elderly are cleaned. The laundromat for humans offers the ultimate tailored washing experience. In this 5-minute short we follow a group of seniors while an extensive mechanical process enforces proper hygiene among them. The animated figures are stretched, steamed and scrubbed while their faces react to their surroundings. This unique combination of stop-motion and real physiognomy creates an absurd humorous situation, while still touching on a social topic.

Blomme Molenstra

Blomme Molenstra was born 1993 in Temse (Belgium). After high school, he studied animation at the School of Arts in Ghent (2011-2015). In 2014, he won the “1er Prix étudiant du Vidémapping contest #1” in Lille with two fellow students.
