Synopsis

The young girls Lili and Bao live at Bamboo Temple Street. After a brutal incident at school, Bao starts finding the wild and strong Lili interesting. Even though her parents dislike her interest, she decides to show Lili her friendship and affection. She crosses Bamboo Temple Street to find her.

Baoying Bilgeri

Born and raised in China, Baoying Bilgeri has been living and working in Germany for many years. As an animation director and animator she tells very personal stories based on her own experiences and childhood memories. Due to her personal background as a painter and illustrator, she has a strong influence on the visual appearance of her films. Her films have screened at festivals worldwide.
