Synopsis

Every day Joseph is imprisoned in the constant loop of war against his inner demons and passions. Only if he wins this battle, he will be able to bear the burden of life and coexist with other people and even with himself. If he loses the battle, he will be lost in the most distant corner of his own distorted mind.

Nadia Dubijansky

Nadia Dubijansky was born in Russia in 1988. She immigrated to Israel with her parents in 2001. At the age 18 joined the IDF and after the demobilization began her studies at Bezalel, Jerusalem's Academy of Arts and Design at the Animation department. Among her other hobbies are oil painting and sports (long distance running). In The Tall Grass is the short film she completed with her classmates as a graduation project at Bezalel Art Academy (2014).

Alexii Muftoll

Alexii Muftoll was born in former USSR in 1986. At age 15 he immigrated to Israel with his family, where he studied Sociology and Film Studies at the Open University of Israel. As time moved on, Alexii continued studying animation at Bezalel, Jerusalem's Academy of Arts and Design. Among all the other interests, he is strongly into the world of photography and experimental electronic music. In The Tall Grass is the first serious short animation movie, completed by Alexii and his classmates as the graduation project for Bezalel Art Academy in 2014.
