Synopsis

The film is given its theme by Slavonian distichs, which are even now sung in area larger than Slavonia. Two girls, one rich and the other poor, and more beautiful, love the same boy. The boy is undecided, but finally settles for the poor girl. Although the rich girl is insulted, she quickly comforts herself with another, moustached bridegroom.
