Einar Baldvin was born in Reykjavík, Iceland in 1985. In 2005 he moved to the US to pursue a BFA in Experimental Animation at the California Institute of the Arts which he received in 2009. Einar received his MFA in animation at the University of Southern California in 2014 and currently resides in Los Angeles. His animated shorts have played around the world including at Annecy, Ottawa and Hiroshima animation festivals and Telluride Film Festival.
