Synopsis

Sonja lives a lonely life as a fishmonger, more at ease with her fish than her customers, until one day a delivery man turns up who looks like a rainbow trout.

Yousif Al-Khalifa

After a BA in Animation at the University of Westminster, Yousif Al-Khalifa enrolled in the Directing Animation course at the National Film and Television School. Yousif’s graduation project, Sleeping With The Fishes, premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, and won the student Grand Prix at the Seoul International Cartoon and Animation Festival, the Audience Award at the London International Animation Festival, and the BAFTA for British Short Animation.
