Synopsis

Prometheus’ Gardenis a 28-minute animated film by legendary Seattle underground artist Bruce Bickford. The film is loosely based on the Greek myth of Prometheus, a Titan who stole fire from the gods and made the first humans out of clay. It’s been hailed as Bickford’s most complete work, and astonishes in its unique visual expression – surreal, hallucinatory, dream-like, nightmarish. Bickford’s career has spanned four decades and includes work with rock icon Frank Zappa.
