Synopsis
A man at the Summit has a short moment to get down and refresh himself. He must be quick and vigilant, his kingdom is desired and the competition is ferocious. A trailer for the 11th edition of the Montreal Animated Film Summit, an international festival dedicated to animation in all its forms, taking place in the cold of December.
Patrick is an Academy Award nominated animator based in Montreal, Canada. His first professional film Dimanche (Sunday, 2011), produced by the National Film Board of Canada, garnered honours in the international circuit (Berlinale, Hiroshima, Espinho, Odense, Varna, Denver) as well as being nominated for the Oscar® for best animated short in 2012 and winning a Jutra in this category the same year. He studied graphic design at Université du Québec à Montréal and since 2005 he has been doing both illustration and animation. His illustrations for magazines have won many awards. Patrick is also a dad and a curator (in association with online magazine La Marelle) of a channel dedicated to smart animated films for children.
