Synopsis

Slide is the tale of a mythical cowboy who appears in a corrupt logging town and with the aid of his slide guitar and a giant Hellbug, battles the evil mayor and his equally selfish twin brother to clean up Sourdough Creek. Most of the action takes place in the twins' LuckyBuck Saloon, where Slide (the cowboy) performs with a three-piece band. Delilah, one of the saloon girls, falls for Slide and wants to leave town and become a singing star. To make matters more bizarre, a Hollywood film company arrives to shoot a romantic adventure movie there, but they need a beautiful lake for the setting. The twins are forced to build a dam in a week and the rushed schedule leads to s bad engineering job and a climax of horror and retribution.
