Manuel Knapp studied painting and graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. In 2001 he founded the noise-experimental formation (le) MAT together with Arnulf Rödler, and in 2003 he attended University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna, Electroacoustic Institute – computer music and electroacoustic media. His works include interferenzen v.01~ (2005), visibility of interim~ (2007), distorted areas~ (2008), stroboscopic noise~ (2009) among others. He lives and works in Vienna.
