Synopsis
Two construction workers having an everyday conversation about an existential question. They keep on building while the world around them falls apart. Will they find the answer to one of the most common questions in the western world?
Kajsa Næss (1970) studied at the Oslo Film and TV Academy in 1993, followed by studies in animation at Volda University College from 1994 to 1996. After completing her education she co-founded the animation production company Mikrofilm AS with Lise Fearnley in 1996, and has since worked as a director, screenwriter, animator and producer for the company. The company's many films have been screened at numerous festivals, both at home and abroad, and have received several awards, including an Academy Award for Best Animated Short for The Danish Poet (Torill Kove, 2006). Næss herself has written, directed, animated and produced several animated and live-action shorts, documentaries, commercials and music videos.
