Synopsis

In a grey kitchen Monika lives a solitary life, to the sounds of a dripping water tap and a buzzing housefly. Monika is seducing the housefly, when a sad stranger suddenly surprises her by entering the wrong door. Heavy Headsis a minimalistic black comedy about loneliness and solitude.

Helena Frank

Helena Frank (1981) studied Fine Arts and Character Animation for a couple of years. In 2006 Frank started studying at the National Film School of Denmark. In 2010 she graduated from film school with Heavy Heads, which was selected for the Berlinale Shorts in 2011 and got Helena the award Best New Danish Talent.
