Synopsis

A diary of an office worker’s day. A humorous view of his casual sexual adventures turns bitter when the viewer realizes that he already has a relationship with a deeply depressed, alcoholic man.

Andrejs Brīvulis

Andrejs Brīvulis (2001) is a fourth-year Bachelor’s student at Art Academy of Latvia, studying audio-visual communications. His works have been displayed at two joint exhibitions – Kvadrātlitrs (2022) and Botanical Motion (2024) with his debut, an animated short Betula. In 2023 he was granted a creative residency in Sigulda, funded by State Culture Capital Foundation, and organized by Sigulda Devon and Vidzeme region. Andrejs Brīvulis works in different mediums, including photography, video, 3D modeling, digital painting and animation. His themes cover urban visions and nostalgia, as well as the complex inner lives of seemingly ordinary people, seen through the eyes of a sympathetic, unobtrusive observer.
