Priit Pärn (1946) is graphic artist, teacher and renowned animation filmmaker. Since 2006 he is the head of the animation department at the Estonian Academy of Arts, and from 2008 a member of the European Film Academy. In 2008 Pärn received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Animafest. He made 11 animated films, and a host of commercials and shorts, winning more than 80 awards and prizes. His films include Is the Earth Round? (1977), The Triangle (1982), Breakfast on the Grass (1987), Night of the Carrots (1998), Karl and Marilyn (2003), Frank and Wendy (2005), Life Without Gabriella Ferri (with Olga Pärn, 2009), Divers in the Rain (with Olga Pärn, 2010).
