Nicolas Lemée (1980) graduated with a diploma from the Technical College of Arts and Crafts in 2002, before working in set design and set building for cinema, theater and street shows until 2008. Meanwhile, he discovered animation and started tinkering about by himself, before beginning his studies at La Poudrière, the French animation direction school, where he directed Racines, Un anniversaire déglingué (a film commissioned for the Canal J TV channel) and Laszlo, his graduation film (2010).
