JP Saari (born in 1986) is an animation maker from Finland. He graduated from the Arts Academy of Turku University of Applied Sciences on 2011. In the school and during his studies he worked on several animation projects, such as English Lessons by Turun Anikistit and a music video for the Finnish band CMX, mostly as an animator. JP has been in love with the traditional hand-drawn animation since early childhood, and that's one his specialities. In the Turku Arts Academy he co-directed one stop-motion short, Katiska (The Trap, 2008) with Joni Männistö, Janne Kukkonen and Mikko Korhonen. After that he started working alone on his graduation work, Learning to Play (2011), a traditional drawn animation short. JP Saari currently works at Rovio Entertainment's animation department as a Story Artist.
