Chen Chen (1982) graduated from the People’s University of China with a degree in animation. After several years of work in several professions including graphic design, illustration, comic book design and animation, he decided to go to France to experience new methods of filmmaking in animation. He completed his studies at La Poudrière, where he directed La fin d’une histoire (a one minute film), Un cadeau très spécial (a film commissioned for Canal J Television channel) and M’échapper de son regard, his graduation film (2010).
