Synopsis

The subject matter of the film I is sexual identity. The protagonist is a woman trapped in a man's body. Striving to break free from the body, the voyager undertakes a trip to the world of fiction, where he jostles a puppet which helps him to escape from the grasp of reality.
 

Ivana Jurić

Ivana Jurić (1982) graduated animation and new media at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. During her studies, she was awarded for her student work as a whole. She directed the short animated film I (Ja, 2008), for which she was awarded the second award at essl award cee 2009. Besides on film festivals, she presents her work at group and one-man exhibitions in Croatia and abroad.
