Jadwiga Kowalska attended the HSLU (Hochschule Luzern, Design und Kunst, formerly HGKL) Animation Department. She trained her studies at Hélium Films/Cinémagination, and the ASP Krakow (Akademia Sztuk Pięknych). From 2007 to 2009 she was assistant of the HSLU Animation Department. Her films include Invasion of Krakow (2006), Die Erde ist rund (2006), Tôt ou tard (2007) and Das Mädchen und der Jäger (2009/10).
