Dino Krpan graduated in product design in Zagreb in 1995. Since 2001, he produces animated and experimental films. With his experimental debut Alea iacta est (2006) he won several international awards. From 2008 to 2012, he teaches post-production at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. His second animated film Strange Invention (2010) has taken part in more than 30 festivals. He has produced nine short animated films presented at more than 150 festivals. His third film, Malleus Dei (2018), is still touring festival circuit. Since 2014, he has been teaching computer animation at the Film, Television and Multimedia Department at VERN’ University of Applied Sciences. He is currently producing Professor Balthazar anniversary episode, and first Croatian 3D feature film Cricket and Antoinette.
