Ondrej Svadlena (1978) ecsaped in 1984 on foot across the Jugoslavian-Austrian border with his mother and stepfather. After six months of waiting in Austria they were granted political asylum in Canada. Since 2005, he is back in Prague where he is employed as a 3D designer/animator, and works on his personal projects in his spare time. He made Stromovkar (1997), RiBiChKi (1998), Krizovatka (1999), Safety Matches (2001).
