Synopsis
This programme is a compelling insight into lives of 6 children who live in poverty and talk about their experiences, their relationships and how they cope with the kind of life that most children will never know. This distinctive format allows tough subject matter to be dealt with in a way that a young audience can understand; sad at times, funny at times, always engaging.
Kez Margrie joined the BBC in 1995 and began making films for children in 1996. She has worked in BBC Children’s ever since – for 10 years on the longest running children’s programme in the world – Blue Peter. Since leaving her post as Series Producer on Blue Peter, Kez has been making her own stuff. Kez has won critical acclaim for her programme making. “The Wrong Trainers” alone has now won 10 awards worldwide.
