Synopsis
The images of a life as seen through the eyes of a woman who, motionless in front of the sea, feels the need for some relief.
Roberto Catani (1965, Jesi) graduated in animation from the Instituto Statale d’Arte in Urbino, where he has been teaching cartoon animation since 1989. He took part in the Fiera del Libro per Ragazzi in Bologna, collaborated with the magazine Lo straniero. He created festival posters for Clermont-Ferrand (2001), Siena (2001, 2002), and Positano (2003). His drawings and films have been displayed at the Italian animation exhibitions in Trento, Rome (Palazzo Trevi), Annecy, Treviso, Busto Arsizio (2007), Galleria Tricromia (Rome, 2010) and Cartoceto (Fano, 2011). He made the films La funambola (2002), La sagra (1998), Il pesce rosso (1995).
