Synopsis


A cat lives a double life, spending his days with Zoé, the daughter of a police superintendent, and his nights as a thief on the roofs of Paris. One day, while Zoé’s mother is investigating a series of night burglaries, a criminal kidnaps the little girl.

Jean-Loup Felicioli


Jean-Loup Felicioli (1952) studied fine arts in Annecy, Strasbourg, Perpignan and Valence and joined the Folimage Studio as an animator in 1987. He worked as a production designer on the feature film Raining Cats and Frogs (2001). In 1996 he directed The Egoist with Alain Gagnol, a collaboration which would continue for many more projects. Their first feature film A Cat in Paris was nominated for the Oscars in 2012. Their 2D feature film, Phantom Boy, has just been released.

 

Alain Gagnol


Alain Gagnol (born in 1967) studied illustration, cartooning and animation at the École Emile Cohl in Lyon. With a degree in graphic arts, he joined Folimage as an animator. In 1996 he directed The Egoist with Jean-Loup Felicioli, a collaboration which would continue for many more projects. Their first feature film A Cat in Paris was nominated for an Oscar in 2012. Their 2D feature film, Phantom Boy, has just been released. At the same time, he wrote for the publishers Gallimard, Le Cherche Midi and Magnard jeunesse.
