Among 1800 submitted films from 77 countries from across the world, World Festival of Animated Film - Animafest Zagreb is proud to present the official selection for the Grand Competition – Short Film, Student Film Competition and Croatian Film Competition categories of the 2024 edition of the festival.

Besides Animafest’s artistic director Daniel Šuljić, other members of the selection committee for the Grand Competition – Short Film and Croatian Film Competition were Martina Meštrović and Ivan Slipčević, while Matea Kovač and Laura Martinović selected films in the Student Film Competition category.

Almost 900 films were submitted for the Grand Competition – Short Film category alone and 35 of them were selected to be presented at the festival. From almost 850 student submissions, 42 films were selected for the Student Film Competition, while the Croatian Film Competition will feature 22 films.

World Festival of Animated Film - Animafest Zagreb 2024 will take place 3-8 June 2024.
