Synopsis

Touring the city of Zagreb with a foreigner, Ema is facing her city’s good and bad sides. Through her gaze and the foreigner’s gaze we see a city like any other, a desire for ever better things and a sense of home.

Sara Tomas

Sara Tomas graduated from the IB programme in 2016. During her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, for two years she volunteered as an organiser of cultural, athletic and educational events promoting world peace for young people in Albania, Austria, Senegal and Czechia. Her BA, also her debut film, premiered at the 50th Animafest in Croatian Competition, followed by the 69th Pula Film Festival in Student Competition and ASIFA, winning the third place at thr 54th Croatian Film Festival.
