Synopsis

A story about an encounter between two individuals in an imaginary world – the Puppeteer and the Creature. The Puppeteer bides his time on his planet, longing for company. When a guest finally arrives, the Puppeteer expresses his happiness in many ways. Despite being suspicious of his pandering, the guest is curious to know what lies behind the friendly face.

Marko Belić

Marko Belić (1984, Split) graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Department of Animated Film and New Media. He works mainly in 2D-animation and illustration. During his studies, he worked on numerous projects as an animator, character designer for mobile games, children’s magazine illustrator, illustrator for language tests. He also made the Animafest 2015 Student Competition trailer, music videos, visual effects, and animated sequences for the animated documentary Chris the Swiss, which was co-produced by Switzerland and Croatia. As a student, he made three short films. Filmflam (2018) is his thesis film.
