Synopsis

A woman is crying out for help to two men, with a child in her arms, but what comes next is mixed with good omen and misfortune, with felicity and fatality.

Xu An

Xu An (1977–2017) graduated in 2001 from the Academy of Arts and Design, Tsinghua University. He has been working as a TV animation director since 2004. He has been co-directing independent animation films with Xi Chen since 2007. Their films have been selected for competition sections at international festivals in Annecy, Stuttgart, Zagreb, Hiroshima, etc.

Xi Chen

Xi Chen started to draw comics at an early age. His works were published serially by many Chinese magazines. In 2010, he graduated from the Beijing Film Academy with an MA. He worked as a TV animation director and an independent director. In 2010, he was awarded the Special International Jury Prize at the Hiroshima International Animation Festival. He was a curator of the 5th China Independent Animation Film Forum. He is currently a lecturer at the Beijing Film Academy.
