Synopsis
On an isolated cacti farm, three stressed out birds ask a cowgirl to help put a stop to the elusive Ax-Man. The group embarks on a quest to save the forest, following the Ax-Man’s path of destruction.
Sam Lane is a fourth-year BFA student in the Experimental Animation program at the California Institute of the Arts. She has worked in a wide variety of mediums, including stop-motion, VR, and 2D paper animation. Spell of the West is her third-year film.
