A sexual fantasy in a family setting, Crocus was animated with paper cut-outs and shot with a Bolex on the floor of the artist’s bedroom. The film was included in the first ever Women’s Film Festival in New York in 1972. The original artwork is in the permanent collection of the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. The soundtrack was created by the artist, her husband Al Kraning, and her two-year-old son Blue Kraning.
