Synopsis
A one-minute animated short, based on a one-minute short tale by Hungarian folk writer Gáspár Heltai. A story of a man who goes out to the forest to ask for a stick. A story about the true nature of manhood.
Dani Pucz is a graphic designer and animator from Budapest, Hungary. A former student at the animation department of Illyés Academy of Arts. His first film Karawane was a collage animation adaptation of Hugo Ball’s infamous dada poem by the same title. The film evoked art brut, the new aesthetics of the 20th century, and also Monty Python’s Flying Circus. His first exhibition was titled “Now you see Daddy, finally I got an exhibition!” in 2014.
Constantinos Terlikkas is a graphic designer, 3D artist and animator based in Cyprus. A former student at TEI Athens. His graduation film Lullaby was based on a Cypriot folk song, and travelled the Balkans at animation festivals.
