Synopsis

A film about a domestic dark cockroach who is a bad flier, but would so ambitiously want to do it better. Thanks to an amorous, or simply compassionate firefly, with great effort he will manage to overcome impossible and unsurmountable obstacles and eventually fly. He will fly with her, albeit holding firmly to her back. An almost classic film tale of two characters: he lives off the dark and she lives off the light. Nature would never assume these two could ever be happy together.

Goran Trbuljak

Goran Trbuljak graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. A visual artist who appeared at over 20 solo exhibitions in Croatia and abroad and at about 100 group shows. As a director of photography he has been making fiction and documentary films, and since 2002 he has made five animated films. Five times the winner of a Golden Arena at Pula Film Festival for cinematography, and twice the winner of Oktavijan for animation at Croatian Film Days.
