Synopsis

LOSS is a 3 minute stop motion animation based on the idea of losing someone. People that come into your lives as mentors, friends, family, and teachers one day leave you to your own and this film explores what happens when they do.

Marian Obando

Marian Obando is a 22-year-old Costa Rican-American student finishing a degree in Communication Design at Pratt Institute in New York City. Through design, she found her way into animation and stop motion animation. Loss is her first animation and is her graduation thesis project.
