Synopsis

Five year old Amy and her Mum are divided in grief for Dad, occupying very separate worlds in their struggle to cope. But whilst Mum sinks into numb solitude, struggling to keep to routine, Amy seeks a more magical escape that ultimately has its own perils.

Bianca Ansems

When Bianca was eight she decided she wanted to become an animator. After several career choice changes in the following 10 years she eventually did end up studying animation at the Dutch art school AKV St. Joost. She did a successful 5-month internship at the German Trickstudio Lutterbeck in 2007. In 2008 she graduated from her BA with a 2D digital animation called The Somewhat Queer yet Silly Mr.Tophat. In 2009 she did an inspiring work experience at Aardman Animations. Though her roots are in 2D animation, Bianca would like to be an all-round animator and director.
